They now seek a Graduate Electronics Engineer to work on a range of next generation products involved in the control of streaming high definition video. Our client uses a mixture of analogue, digital and FPGAs for different projects, so experience across these is a plus.
The core skills you need at the outset will have been gained during your top class technical degree from a known leading university. You will have gained sufficient training to able to prove an understanding of the following:
- High speed digital design and development methodologies
- Analogue circuit design and debug
- Exposure to use of oscilloscopes and other bench tools
- Understanding of network architecture or streaming of video
The Graduate Electronics Engineer will be expected to work well within a multi-disciplinary development team across a varied range of smaller and larger projects. The versatility to work well in teams or individually and adapt between development-focused and research-focused projects is therefore advantageous. Your team colleagues will be:
- System on Chip (SoC) / FPGA developers
- Video compression experts
- Communications specialists in TCP/IP protocols
- Software developers working in high level languages
- Embedded real-time software engineers
- Cryptography designers
