Candidates will have an excellent Master’s degree (1st or 2.1 from a highly-ranked university) with A*/A at A level; you may also have completed a PhD. You should be able to demonstrate some project experience in mechanical design of high-precision sensors or devices. Candidates who can display an enthusiasm for engineering through their outside projects are of particular interest.
