Consultancy working on complex business models within the technology sector

Recruiting for immediate or late summer start - this boutique consultancy based in the heart of Cambridge are hiring and will consider both graduates looking to start their careers, or experienced individuals.

The company work across the world (and in usual circumstances, there could be travel to meet clients) building complex, numerical models based on business and financial data for technology readiness. Their expertise and the models they develop are used by their clients to make viable predictions and assist in navigating complicated business landscapes.

Joining this company, you can work closely with senior consultants and partners, and gain first-hand experience on all aspects of projects. This would include data gathering, quantitative analyses, building models and developing strategic frameworks based on findings which would be documented in reports and presented to clients. The company have in place a pathway for rapid career progression and reward contributions well.

Requirements:

  • Strong numerate background evidenced through a history of top academics including: A*/A grades in Maths and either Further Maths, Physics or Economics (or 40+ at IB); 1st or high 2.1 grade bachelors degree from a top ranked university (ideally in maths, physics or engineering); and a Masters working on a substantial numerical project.
  • Demonstrable project experience - either a PhD or industry experience - where modelling with multiple variables are central to the work.
  • Internship experience within an accountancy / financial institute or management consultancy would be desirable.

As this is a consultancy, good communication skills are expected. Further, as clients can be based worldwide, a second language skill (Spanish, French, Arabic) would be beneficial.
