Application Support Engineer (26039)

Specialising in solutions for challenging mathematical problems in the energy sector, this company is growing rapidly and looking to move into new markets. To help them support their growing customer base, they are now seeking an Application Support Engineer to join their team.

After gaining a solid understanding of their mathematical modelling framework, you would provide expertise to customers in getting the maximum benefit from the software. You would also assist with QA activities to ensure that updates and new features are ready for release.

You will need:

• A strong academic background in a highly numerate discipline such as Maths, Physics, or similar from a well ranked university and mostly A* or A grades at A level or equivalent baccalaureate results.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to rapidly understand and resolve customers’ problems.

The role is based in Central London close to Tottenham Court Road. The company is flexible on the level of experience and can consider new graduates or candidates with industry experience.
