This innovative company’s product gives their clients the tools to easily deploy their own enterprise applications to mobile devices. Their versatile toolkits allow clients to quickly tailor and build a UI that will meet their particular needs. In order for the product to be robust in any of its possible configurations, it is critical that their software engineers have the ability and insight to predict and investigate the ways the code could be used. They offer bright, motivated individuals a chance to start or develop their career in software engineering in a company using the latest technology.

The Junior Consultant Software Engineer’s role would involve assisting clients to implement and configure the product to their specifications, so good communication skills will be necessary. The Junior Consultant Software Engineer would often be trusted to create high quality solutions and develop test cases in order to identify the root cause of problems, working with internal teams and external clients.

To succeed in the role of Junior Consultant Software Engineer, you will need:

  • A good numerate degree (2:1 or above) from a well-respected university, backed up by excellent A level results (A/A*) in technical subjects.
  • Established coding skills. Favoured languages include HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, using frameworks such as React and Knockout. C#, Java and other Object Orientated languages would be of particular interest, especially if that is combined with knowledge of design class models and abstraction.
  • Motivation and drive to deliver top quality results and to continue improving your own skills.
  • Full right to work in the UK without time-limit or sponsorship will also be needed.

If you already have some commercial experience, perhaps in the form of an internship or industrial placement in a relevant industry, that will definitely enhance your application.
