Revolutionising banking through technology to empower users

WANTED: Software Developers to join a growing Cambridge based team that are part of a multinational company developing new mobile and cloud applications used within banking and finance. This FinTech company is creating intuitive technology products that people can use to manage and help their budgets. These tools are trusted by their customers to work 24/7 all year round.

As part of the software team, you'll work with talented people to create core systems to enable payment and management transactional applications. You'll work closely with QA and DevOps groups to deliver products and new features. You'll have the opportunity to work in other domains and build up an enviable range of skills and technology knowledge. The team work from their Cambridge office although hybrid working is available (it is expected that developers are able to attend meetings in Cambridge when required).

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Maths, Engineering or similar.
  • Experience in software development (commercial internships by graduates would be considered).
  • Technology agnostic. Strong aptitude to pick up new technologies demonstrated through experience working with a range of programming languages (Java, Kotlin, Python, Golang, Rust would be beneficial) and software tools (Kafka, Kubernetes, Cloud, REST APIs, SQL, CoackroachDB, BigQuery would be desirable to see). Further exposure to React, Angular and Docker would be advantageous.

All ranges of experience will be considered; and for senior developers, top salaries are available.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a start-up-like environment that is well-supported. The company encourage crossover into other domain areas and projects, so you can expect to be technically challenged and have the chance to learn new technologies.

Applications for immediate or (relatively) short notice period candidates are invited.
