Learn about the development and production of high-tech electronics products

This role would suit a recent graduate, an experienced manufacturing/production engineer or someone with a technical background returning to work or seeking a career change.

This Cambridge company produce high-tech electronics for use in all sorts of industries. With PCB manufacturing overseas, in this role you’ll liaise with engineering and manufacturers and learn a lot about this process. You’ll also participate as part of the operations team, including addressing quality concerns (handling and checking PCBs) and stock control.

You’ll have:

  • A technical qualification, ideally in electronics but other subjects welcome, whether bachelors’ degree, HND or similar.
  • An interest in electronics, manufacturing or production; any experience in these areas is an asset. An awareness of EDA and ECNs would be exceptionally helpful.
  • A friendly, efficient and organised approach to work, including willingness to learn from (and potentially teach) others.
  • The desire to be “hands on”, get involved in the company in a helpful capacity, and get to know the little curious facts one picks up over time about company and technical processes, how electronics products are produced.

You’ll work from the company's offices just south of Cambridge as part of a small and friendly team. A competitive salary and benefits are on offer to the right candidate.
