Applications Engineer - Automotive Electronics (26523)

A good academic background in electronics and a passion for motorsport are prerequisites for joining this renowned Cambridgeshire-based engineering team, helping their customers get the best out of their diagnostics in order to get the best out of their cars.

As an Applications Engineer, you will become expert in all aspects of the company’s products, its capabilities, and how to troubleshoot any issues, and you’ll enjoy working with peers from customers’ engineering teams to get them up and running and to obtain the data they need. This could involve responding to queries via email or forum, creating training material and videos, or working alongside them at the racetrack. Your observations would feed into the design and development of even better diagnostics systems.

You will need:

• A 1st or 2.1 in electronics or similarly applicable subject from a well-respected university
• A full driving licence, a strong interest in automotive technology and motorsport, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Confidence discussing technical issues with clients
• The ability to produce high quality written communications

The role is based at the company's Cambridgeshire offices with business travel including track days. A competitive salary and good benefits package are on offer to the successful candidate. There is scope to work remotely on an occasional basis when tasks permit.
