Working on Windows kernel applications for security

Are you an experienced Software Engineer or recently graduated Computer Scientist with a strong background with C++? Do you know your way around the Windows kernel or at least have interest and some exposure in this area? Are you keen to work on these technology areas and be rewarded with an excellent remunerations package, career support and flexible working (onsite or hybrid)?

This team works as an agile start-up but are part of a large corporation. They therefore have the financial backing to get things done but also the nimbleness to exploit new opportunities. They are currently looking for (Senior) C++ Software Developer to join them. Projects will involve development of new features as well as maintaining an enterprise product, enhance performances of products, general problem solving and deliver solutions used by millions around the world.

Requirements

  • You may have a STEM degree but most importantly can demonstrate a strong background in C++ programming (through industry appointments or academic (PhD or similar) projects.
  • You’ll have experience programming with the Windows platform and familiarity with Windows internals. Experience with MFC or COM would be desirable.
  • Any exposure to low-level programming, reverse engineering, Windows kernel development would be desirable.

Both senior and junior level software developers would be considered. Candidates should be based in or close to Cambridge or open to relocating within commuting distance of Cambridge. Offices are located within a 15mins walk from the train station and are serviced by good public transport.
