Technical Sales Associate (27064)
Have you graduated with a Physics, Chemistry or similar degree and want a commercially oriented career? Do you have an entrepreneurial streak and perhaps gained work experience in sales? Do you enjoy speaking with different people and like the pressures of working on multiple, co-current projects?
This Cambridge based company is looking for a Technical Sales Associate to join their sales team. The Cambridge group are the UK office for a global multinational. Their key products are mathematical modelling software tools that are used by scientists and engineers to computationally model and simulate different variables for new technologies.
The role would consist of research to generate new leads and prospective customers, qualify leads, organise workshops and assist with marketing and within the sales team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in physics, chemistry or similar (2nd class or better).
- Experience of pro-active sales (could be of non-technical products or services).
- Strong communication skills.
- Exposure to mathematical modelling software.
- General interest in technology and engineering applications.
Interested candidates require full rights to work in the UK indefinitely and must be able to work onsite at their offices in Cambridge.
