This independent and privately owned company has a long history in Cambridge providing services and equipment used around the globe by scientists and engineers in fields as diverse as medical drug delivery and automotive development. They are growing and looking to add a scientist or engineer to their Products team. In this role you will liaise closely with customers and clients providing important feedback to the team that will shape future product development and provide support to customers.

You will be quick to learn new techniques and skills (fully supported by the team) covering a broad range of technical areas as well as business and product development. You will connect with customers building strong relationships to understand their requirements and business needs. Further, working closely with customers you will help them integrate new products from initial system design to final evaluation. This can include site visits to companies around the world along with attending industry conferences.

Requirements:

  • Good degree in Science or Engineering, including those graduating soon
  • Comfortable with both theoretical and hands-on work
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, especially regarding technical subjects
  • Full unrestricted rights to work in the UK (sponsorship is not possible)
