Test Technician - Mechanical (27197)

This high-tech design and manufacturing company is seeking a Test Technician to join their Test & Prototyping team. You will be conducting detailed testing of their cutting-edge designs operating at the micron scale, carrying out relevant analysis and writing formal reports. Your responsibilities will also include sourcing, assembly, and qualification of new test equipment and enhancing the test process through the company’s continuous improvement frameworks.

Requirements:

• Sound mechanical test knowledge from a degree, apprenticeship, or through relevant commercial experience in a similar role
• Good general understanding of laboratory practices, equipment, tools, jigs, and fixtures
• Experience with report writing - ideally scientific test reports
• Full unrestricted rights to work in the UK (sponsorship is not possible)
  Whilst not required, experience using milling machines or lathes would be advantageous as a small amount of custom manufacturing is part of this role.
