Graduate Software Engineer (27279)
If you have strong coding skills in C++ and a good grasp of 3D maths concepts such as vectors, cross and dot products, and matrix transformations, then this role might be the one for you.
Joining this Cambridge-based development team, you would contribute to an industry-leading software suite that’s used worldwide and across multiple industry sectors to help create the consumer and industrial products of tomorrow. This software relies on innovative 3D geometry algorithms to help simplify complex design tasks and intricate workflows, and runs on a variety of platforms including mobile and cloud.
As a Graduate Software Developer, you will have full involvement throughout the software development lifecycle including determining the requirements in collaboration with clients, algorithm and software design and development and test planning.
You will need:
- A 1st or 2.1 STEM degree from a well-respected university with strong A-level or equivalent grades
- Good ability with 3D geometry
- Demonstrably good software development skills in C++ (or possibly other C++ family languages if your coding is stellar), and conversant with using IDEs such as Visual Studio
- A solid understanding of software engineering practices
- Full existing right to work in the UK without restriction, time limit, or sponsorship
