Cambridge
to £50k DoE + benefits

Looking for an intellectually stimulating role that will use your analytical and numeracy skills?

This Cambridge-based role calls for a bright candidate with an impressive academic record (Master's degree or PhD), and ideally, a very good knowledge of digital electronics. Joining a team focussed on RTL level design, you will be working within a small self-contained division of a leading technology company in a relaxed and informal working environment, designing and implementing a wide range of complex numerical operations using optimised RTL.

You will need:

  • A solid record of academic achievement (top degree from a top university – at least a Master's and ideally a relevant numerically focused PhD in maths / electronics or a closely related area)
  • Proven numerical algebra / logic skills. Exposure to areas such as floating point arithmetic, digital logic, optimisation, System Verilog, Verilog, or VHDL would be very relevant. Coding skills in C++ or a related language would also be valuable.
  • Full, existing, and unrestricted right to work in the UK.

This is a great opportunity to join a top technology sector employer, work in a friendly team of expert engineers where you can build your skills and gain experience working on stimulating technology projects. A competitive salary and benefits package are on offer to the successful candidate.
